About the Seminar:

The MSBA is co-sponsoring again this year with the Office of the Inspector General, for the "Story of a Building" Seminar. This new on-site class immerses attendees in the story of a public building construction project from the beginning of the planning stages to the final stages, resulting in a building “coming to life.” Participants will gain insight from project management teams, owner’s project managers, architects, contractors, building committee members and others.    Prerequisite:  No prerequisite

This course qualifies for 6 professional development points (PDP) and 6 MCPPO recertification credits.

Topics covered include:

  • Key ingredients for a successful project
  • Lessons learned
  • Post-construction experiences
  • A tour of the subject building with a question and answer period
   
Lunch will be provided in the new school cafeteria.
