Collaborative Purchasing Training

 
The MSBA hosted a new outreach effort to support school districts. We have been reviewing school furniture purchases and exploring ways to maximize value for FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment). Many districts are outfitting their new schools with similar type furniture and might benefit by a group purchase of certain items. The goal of the training was to share information about product lines and sourcing information; and to help districts save money by exploring procurement methods to achieve reduced unit cost. The training was held at Franklin High School on Thursday, August 18th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For more information on the training please see the helpful links below.
