The filing period for submitting a Statement of Interest ("SOI") to the MSBA for consideration in Fiscal Year 2011 is now closed. MSBA staff is diligently working with districts that submitted an SOI to verify and obtain any outstanding or insufficient information.
Submitting an SOI is the critical first step in the MSBA’s program for school building construction and renovation grants. The grant program is a non-entitlement, competitive program, and grants are distributed by the MSBA Board of Directors based on need and urgency, as expressed by the community and validated by the MSBA.
Over the next several weeks, the MSBA will continue its analysis on properly submitted SOIs and will be working with districts to verify the information provided to the MSBA in the SOI.
