Operation Matters:
Understanding your New Building’s Equipment and Operating Systems

Whether you are building a new library, public safety building or school, your new building will have sophisticated equipment and systems.  Come to this all-day program and hear lessons learned from school district personnel, facilities managers and other subject matter experts about:  how to get the most out of commissioning agents, when to start the warranty clock, what happens when integrated systems stop talking to each other?

These are just a few of the practical, informational segments that will be offered at the upcoming Story of a Building seminar. Join us on Wednesday, May 1st at the Auburn Middle School in Auburn, MA as we focus on expectations for operating the technical and sensitive equipment and operating systems in your new building.

Co-sponsored with the Office of the Inspector General, this onsite class immerses attendees in the story of a school building project with an emphasis on operating the lights, HVAC, public safety and other systems and equipment.

*This class is tuition-free for two staff from those schools recently invited into the MSBA Process. Morning continental breakfast, a school tour and lunch are provided.
