District’s Selected Owner’s Project Manager: Heery International, Inc.
The District and its selected Owner’s Project Manager presented information about the OPM selection process and how the District concluded on selecting Heery International, Inc. to serve as the OPM for the proposed Sarah W. Gibbons Middle School project. The OPM Review Panel and MSBA staff asked about the proposed Project Director’s current and projected workload and about the firm's experience with change orders on other MSBA funded projects. The OPM Review Panel and MSBA staff sought clarification regarding the firm’s proposed team for the project, the proposed scope of work for the project, and the OPM’s understanding of its responsibility to be responsive to both the Owner and the MSBA. The OPM Review Panel also asked the District about its scoring of respondents and its plans for day-to-day oversight and management of the OPM.
