The Massachusetts School Building Authority (the “MSBA”) is pleased to provide an update on the status of the 2024 Statement of Interest (“SOI”) filing period.
Accelerated Repair Program SOI submissions will be accepted from 10:00 AM on Friday, January 12, 2024 through 11:59 PM on Friday, March 1, 2024.
Please refer to the October 25, 2023 Board of Directors memo, which outlines the recommendations specific to the ARP, including reopening the ARP in 2024, located on our website, here.
Core Program SOI submissions will be accepted from 10:00 AM on Friday, January 12, 2024 through 11:59 PM on Friday, April 12, 2024.
Submitting an SOI is the first critical step in the MSBA's program to partially fund the construction, renovation, addition or repairs of municipally or regionally owned school facilities located in cities, towns and regional school districts. The SOI allows districts to inform the MSBA about deficiencies that may exist in school facilities and how those deficiencies inhibit the delivery of the educational program.
