These MSBA school projects are all-electric. The decision for districts to go all-electric has been increasing every year and this will increase at an accelerated rate with the new energy code that promotes all-electric construction.
Nineteen of these schools have been completed: Belmont High School, Fales Elementary in Westborough, Douglas Elementary in Acton-Boxborough, Mindess Elementary in Ashland, Foster Elementary in Hingham, Arlington High School, Upham Elementary in Wellesley, Welch Elementary in Peabody, West Elementary in Andover, Crocker Elementary in Fitchburg, Hanlon Elementary in Westwood, Hadley Elementary in Swampscott, Stoneham High School, Oliver Partnership School in Lawrence, Bird Middle School in Walpole, Carter School in Boston, Josiah Quincy Upper High School in Boston, Leahy Elementary in Lawrence, and Lynch Elementary in Winchester.
