MSBA Invites West Bridgewater to Launch Feasibility Study

BOSTON—State Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg, Chair of the Massachusetts School Building Authority (“MSBA”), and Mary Pichetti, MSBA Executive Director/Deputy CEO, announced today that the MSBA Board of Directors has invited the Town of West Bridgewater, to collaborate in conducting a Feasibility Study for the Rose L. MacDonald Elementary School, for a potential MSBA school construction project. 

“The Feasibility Study will carefully examine potential solutions to the issues identified at the school’s facility and will help us develop the most cost-effective plan to address those issues,” stated Treasurer Goldberg. “We look forward to partnering with the district to move the potential project forward.” 

“We are committed to working with the district to help address the deficiencies in their school,” said Executive Director/Deputy CEO Mary Pichetti. “Our partnership with local officials will ensure the best solution for the students in West Bridgewater.”  

The MSBA partners with Massachusetts communities to support the design and construction of educationally-appropriate, flexible, sustainable and cost-effective public school facilities. Since its 2004 inception, the Authority has approved 1,027 projects and has made over $16.7 billion in reimbursements for school construction projects across the Commonwealth.
