Background
A person may request reasonable access to inspect and/or copy a public record as defined in MGL Chapter 4: Section 7 provided that: (i) the request reasonably describes the public record sought; (ii) the public record is within the possession, custody or control of the Public Entity receiving the request; and (iii) the Public Entity receives payment of a reasonable fee for the production of the public record as provided in MGL Chapter 66: Section 10.
Records Access Officers:
Pursuant to the provisions of MGL Chapter 66: Section 6A, the MSBA has appointed the following Records Access Officers who will coordinate the MSBA’s response to each request for access to public records:

Requests for access to Public Records should be specific, focused, and preferably in writing. Please include your name, address, phone number, email address, and your preferred contact method IN YOUR REQUEST so we may properly respond.
MSBA Searchable Website:
The MSBA’s website is searchable and the vast majority of the Public Records that are typically requested can be found on the website for your convenience. However, please feel free to contact the MSBA’s Records Access Officers regarding any requests for information.
The MSBA maintains a vast number of Public Records which include, but are not limited to, periodic surveys of the educational and physical conditions of Massachusetts Public Schools, Statements of Interest filed by Districts who are interested in participating in the MSBA Grant Program, Project Scope and Budget Agreements, Project Funding Agreements, Project Grant Reimbursement Requests, Project Grant Payments, Minutes of Meetings of the MSBA Board of Directors ("BOD"), Votes of the BOD, BOD Subcommittee information, Designer Selection Panel information, Owner’s Project Manager Review Panel information, MSBA Guidelines, MSBA Policies, MSBA Project Correspondence and Annual Reports.
