The Massachusetts School Building Authority (the “MSBA”) is pleased to provide an update on the status of the 2026 Statement of Interest ("SOI") submittal period for the Core Program.
Core Program SOI submissions will be accepted from 10:00 AM on Monday, January 12, 2026, through 11:59 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026.
Submitting an SOI is the first critical step in the MSBA's program to partially fund the new construction, addition, and/or renovation projects of municipally or regionally owned school facilities located in cities, towns and regional school districts. SOIs allow districts to inform the MSBA about deficiencies that may exist in school facilities and how those deficiencies inhibit the delivery of the educational program.

As a reminder, the Accelerated Repair Program, which is intended for the partial or full replacement of roofs, windows/doors and heat pump conversions in existing school facilities, will again be accepting SOIs for consideration in January 2027, consistent with its biennial openings.
