BOSTON—State Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg, Chair of the Massachusetts School Building Authority (“MSBA”), and Mary L. Pichetti, MSBA Executive Director/Deputy CEO, announced today that the MSBA Board of Directors has invited one district to collaborate in conducting a Feasibility Study for potential MSBA school construction projects.
“The Feasibility Study will carefully examine potential solutions to the issues identified at the school’s facility and will help us develop the most cost-effective plan to address those issues,” stated Treasurer Goldberg. “We look forward to partnering with the district to move the potential project forward.”
The Board of Directors approved a Feasibility Study invitation for the following school:

“We are committed to working with the district to help address the deficiencies in their school,” said Executive Director/Deputy CEO Pichetti. “Our partnership with local officials will ensure the best solutions for the students in the District.”
The MSBA partners with Massachusetts communities to support the design and construction of educationally appropriate, flexible, sustainable and cost-effective public-school facilities. Since its 2004 inception, the Authority has approved 1,138 projects and has made over $18 billion in reimbursements for school construction projects across the Commonwealth.
