The MSBA team toured the Dr. William R. Peck Middle School in Holyoke, Mass. on Thursday, October 15, 2025. The Peck Middle School is part of the MSBA's Model School Program, which seeks to effectively adapt and re-use the design of successful, recently constructed Pre-K through 12th grade schools. The City of Holyoke developed a schematic design for the building that was based on a model school that has been successfully built for three other school districts. The City worked with the Mount Vernon Group Architects to make this model their own creating a state-of-the-art school that suits their educational program. The Dr. William R. Peck Middle School opened its doors to students and staff in August 2025.
