MSBA Announces Opening of 2016 Statement of Interest Submittal Period
A Statement of Interest is the first step toward potential MSBA funding
State Treasurer Deborah Goldberg, Chairman of the Massachusetts School Building Authority (“MSBA”) and Chief Executive Officer Maureen Valente today announced the opening of the 2016 Statement of Interest (SOI) process. From January 8, 2016, through April 8, 2016, the MSBA will accept SOIs for consideration in calendar year 2016 through its web-based application system.
MSBA Issues a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) to Provide Prototypical School Designs for the Model School Program
The Massachusetts School Building Authority (“MSBA”), intends to identify, “collect and maintain a clearinghouse of prototypical school designs that may be used by eligible Districts” for MSBA funding. Under the Model School Program, the MSBA intends to select the design of one or more existing schools (“model schools”) meeting certain criteria and to pre-qualify the designer of each selected model school.
MSBA Helps Cut the Ribbon on Additions and Renovations at Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School
Maureen Valente, Chief Executive Officer of the Massachusetts School Building Authority (“MSBA”), today joined with local legislative and school district leaders to cut the ribbon on a major addition and renovation project at Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in the Southern Worcester County Vocational Technical School District. The MSBA is contributing 67.41% of eligible expenses toward the $73.7 million project.
The MSBA Helps Break Ground for the Abington Middle-High School
